Reading Ready with TRI!

Everyone Reading, in collaboration with The Reading Institute (TRI), is offering educators in New York access to a two-day (Nov. 17 and Dec. 1, 2025) training course and free curricular materials to implement the Reading Ready Program.

What is Reading Ready?

Reading Ready is an early literacy reading intervention designed to support emergent readers in lifting off into word reading and spelling. The program builds a striving reader’s phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling skills using multimodal activities and decodable books. The program includes ten units focusing on what emerging readers need to learn to decode and encode words.

Training Schedule

• Monday, November 17, 2025 – Kickoff (6:00 - 6:30 P.M. EST)
• Monday, December 1, 2025 – Closing Session (6:00 - 7:00 P.M. EST)

Participation Expectations

• Implement the Reading Ready program with at least one student for 20 sessions.
• Complete a data report to share aggregate data for students you worked with using the program.
• Complete an experience survey after using the program with your student(s) for 20 sessions.
• Optional: Attend virtual program office hours for support and questions.

Participants will receive:

• Training in an evidence-based and highly engaging intervention program
• Free intervention kit including curricular resources and manipulatives ($170 value)
• Reading Ready Certificate of Completion
• 10 CTLE hours
